Louis and Pat Warners joined volunteers from 7 other Rotary clubs to assemble "Good Food Boxes". The Rotary Club of Calgary East has provided volunteers to support Community Kitchens since 2021.
The Community Kitchens Program of Calgary operates a self-empowering model to address the needs of marginalized Calgarians. The Good Food Box Program is a Community Kitchen Program, where anyone can purchase boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables.The boxes are assembled by dedicated volunteers, who along with Community Kitchens, desire individuals and families accessing nutritious fruits and vegetables at an affordable price.
