Members of the Rotary Club of Calgary East had the opportunity to work with Marks to get some much needed re-usable masks to vulnerable populations around the city.
Just before the Easter weekend, staff at the Marks clothing factory in Calgary developed a prototype for re-usable cloth masks and received approval to donate them. East Calgary was approached to help identify vulnerable populations and support the distribution of masks.
Since then the team as Marks has worked tirelessly to make these masks, working double-time to fit them into their regular duties. They did the hard work so that 1500 masks thus far could be delivered to seniors residences and support housing for women.

Thank you to the team at Marks for the amazing work!!!!
