New Years "healthy" resolutions

The New Year is just around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about those healthy resolutions.  So why is it that so many people make resolutions but stop after 1 month?  Are you one of those people that really want to get healthy in the new year, but don't know where to start or are afraid to start? Or like so many are you one of those that think, why bother, I'll just fail anyways?
